Please note: Corten steel is a very durable material and is notorious for withstanding even the harshest weather conditions. It does however, need to be treated initially. If you intend on using this product indoors, please treat this product outdoors beforehand, to then be used indoors. As a result, the product may become 'dirty' when treated outdoors. To prevent this, the product should be treated with an aerosol varnish in advance, the instructions for this are included with the product, and the varnishes are available in hardware stores.
